For more than 150 years, St. John’s has operated an elementary school to serve the needs of students in the Fox Valley area.

Youth Ministry

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry meets the first Sunday of every month from 10:15-11:15 AM. Children ages preschool to fourth grade partake in Bible stories, crafts, music, and a snack.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church takes place during the Sunday 9:00 AM service. After the children’s message children ages 2-12 years old are dismissed to continue their own service which includes Bible stories, music, crafts and snacks. Parents pick their children up after the 9:00 service.

Choir & Hand Bells

St. John’s has both youth and adult handbell groups as well as several choirs for singers of all ages and abilities. Contact our music director, Mr. Dale Woock, for information on joining these amazing music programs.

Bible Study

St. John’s offers multiple opportunities throughout the week to gather in small groups to study scripture.  With a wide variety of groups available, you should be able to find a good fit, but if not please contact Pastor as the list of groups is growing and all it takes to start a new group is a qualified leader.

Soup Kitchen Outreach

St. John’s is an urban church in the heart of the suburbs. In cooperation with other area churches, a weekly soup kitchen is operated in town to provide meals to those in need. Volunteers from St. John’s help out on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Mary Martha Guild &
Ladies Aid

The Mary Martha Guild and the Ladies Aid are two similar groups that are both members of the LWML (Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League), the mission arm of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. In addition to their monthly fellowship meetings, the ladies of the Mary Martha Guild & Ladies Aid do a number of activities in support of our congregation and missionaries working stateside and around the world.
